Recently named the Game Critic Awards “Best Sports Game of E3 2009”, FIGHT NIGHT Round 4 has been winning over reviewers since its release on June 23rd. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 DLC versions “will include a new training gym, new gameplay sliders, as well as a host of new equipment that can be used for outfitting boxers.” Xbox 360 users, on the other hand, will also receive “an exclusive alternate version of Sugar Ray Leonard in their first DLC pack.”ĮA SPORTS™ announced today its initial Downloadable Content (DLC) plan for FIGHT NIGHT Round 4. However, face button punching does make becoming an elite player accessible to a greater number of people.Īdditionally, EA SPORTS also announced that they are planning on releasing a DLC pack by early August. After all, control stick punching is incredibly tight, it’s just a matter of getting the hang of it. Hopefully, player rankings will be divided between the two different control styles. While we like the idea behind giving players more options, we hope that online play isn’t tainted by button mashers. EA has decided to oblige them by releasing a free to download patch for the option in September. Since the release of the excellent Fight Night Round 4, many fans have been hollering for a face button control option.
